The Riwar Mihngi Development Organization (RWDO) has blamed trucks carrying stones to Bangladesh for hours of daily traffic jams in the entire region.
The RMDO has received complaints that these trucks are recklessly parked in narrow areas from Wahkdait up to Dawki and seldom respect the hours that they are allowed to travel on the roads, which has led to plenty of inconveniences to the public.
The RMDO held a meeting with the Sub-Divisional Officer of Pynursla on December 22 in the presence of the officer in charge of Pynursla police station and members of the truckers’ and exporters’ associations.
It was decided there that, from January 3, trucks heading to Bangladesh will stop at specified parking lots in Siatbakon village and leave only at set times.
