The Ri-Bhoi district administration and North East Transmission Company (NETC) formalised their commitment to community development today by signing two agreements.
The deals were signed by Mardondor B Tongper, Additional Deputy Commissioner and District Planning Officer, and Anil R Sah representing NETC.
NETC’s work under these agreements will form part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives for 2023-24.
One of these is a computer lab for Pahambir Lower Primary School in Umling block. Simultaneously, the construction of a culvert over Umsohpieng River in Umsning block will enhance road connectivity.
