The Ri Bhoi Peoples’ Council (RBPC) and Meghalaya People Social Organization (MPSO) have expressed concern over the delay in results for various posts, the written examination which was conducted by the District Selection Committee (DSC) three years ago.
The two organisations today met with Ri Bhoi Deputy Commissioner and sought immediate declaration of the delayed results.
According to leaders of the two organisations, there are over 140 vacancies and the inordinate delay of three years has left applicants anxious.
RBPC president Jayson Lennox Nongrum and MPSO president M. Wanniang told reporters that the Deputy Commissioner informed them that the delay was due to the preparation of roster system by departments, which was yet to be submitted.
Nongrum said they have set a month deadline for the DSC to declare the results.
