Meghalaya celebrated its highest single-day vaccination numbers today, with 17,265 people getting a dose of the Covid-19 vaccine across the state.
This included nearly 10,000 in East Khasi Hills, the district most-affected by the pandemic, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said on social media.
“Would encourage and urge one and all to come forward and get vaccinated. Congrats to the team,” he said.
