The Meghalaya Chess Association in collaboration with Khasi Students’ Union will observe the 187th death anniversary of Tirot Sing Syiem by organising the Third Tirot Sing Syiem Memorial Rapid Chess Championship 2022 on July 16 at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Shillong.
The chess tournament is for open and Under-13 categories and will be conducted under the Swiss system of six rounds with the duration of ten minutes and five seconds of increment for each round.
