A programme on making farm Machinery Custom Hiring Centers (FM-CHC) in entrepreneurship mode under National Innovations Climate Resilient Agriculture- Technology Demonstration Component (NICRA-TDC) was held at Thadnongiaw, Bhoirymbong block in Ri Bhoi District recently.
The programme was organised by the ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra which was attended by 50 farmers including members of the Village Climate Risk Management Committee (VCRMC).
Bankitkupar Mukhim, SMS (Fishery Science) and Dr. Moloy Sarmah Baruah, SMS (Animal Science) gave a brief explanation on the guidelines for running the CHCs in entrepreneur mode. This was followed by the field day on application of agri drone technology for Spraying agricChemicals organized in collaboration with the scientists from Division of System Research and Engineering (DSRE), ICAR RC for NEH Region.
