Ri Bhoi Police has served a notice to Ri Bhoi Youth Organization (RBYO) President in an extortion case.
The notice under Section 41A of the Criminal Procedure Code was given to the group leader, Baiateilang Lapang who has been directed to make himself available for questioning.
Superintendent of Police, Giri Prasad said the notice was sent to Lapang yesterday which relates to a case of extortion at a petrol pump in Byrnihat area.
