To celebrate 50 years of statehood, the West Jaiñtia Hills Deputy Commissioner, in collaboration with INTACH’s Meghalaya chapter, is organising a photo exhibition for public viewing at Thomas Jones Synod College Jowai in August and September.
There are more than 118 photos complete with stands and legends and the DC has invited the public of Jaiñtia Hills to view these “iconic photos”. Entry is free and is open from 10am to 3pm.
The DC also requested groups of 10 or more individuals who wish to visit the exhibition to intimate the DC’s office (planning branch) prior so that necessary arrangements can be made with the college.
