The Alumni Committee and the Alumni Association of Sankardev College, Shillong, organised a panel discussion on the theme ‘The Impact of the Pandemic on Mental Health’ today.
The panelists included Raaj Konwar, Head of the Department of Psychiatry at Nazareth Hospital, Sony Gill, Coordinator at Early Intervention at Bethany Society, and Senior Faculty of Courses, Special Educator (Neurodevelopmental Disabilities), and Psychologist, Melissa D Kyndiah, Assistant Professor and Counselling Psychologist at Martin Luther Christian University and Jochannan Diengdoh, Counsellor at Sankardev College.
The programme was inaugurated by college Principal Eureka FP Lyngdoh.
Teachers and students from different colleges of the state, members of the Alumni Association of the college and local community members participated in the program which was held in blended online-offline mode.
