The Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and its autonomous organisation, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), will hold the “YUVA SAMVAD – India @ 2047” programme through community-based organisations (CBOs) in all districts across the country from April 1 to May 31.
The CBOs will join hands with district NYKSs to generate a positive discourse on the future of the country.
The programme will be conducted in a town hall format, with experts and knowledgeable persons leading discussions on Panch Pran followed by question and answer session with the participation of a minimum of 500 youth. The organising CBOs will be reimbursed up to Rs 20,000 for the organisation of the programme.
The CBOs who wish to apply must be non-political and non-partisan with an untainted history and sufficient organisational strength to conduct the Yuva Samvad. They should not have any criminal cases pending against them. Up to three CBOs per district shall be selected for the programmes.
Interested CBOs meeting the criteria may submit their applications in the prescribed application proforma that may be obtained from the district Nehru Yuva Kendra. The last date to submit the applications is on or before March 14.
