Shillong, Oct 9: As part of this Special Campaign 5.0, the National Statistics Office, Field Operations Division, Regional office Shillong organised a cleaning drive around Ward’s Lake area and its office today.
The campaign started with a preparatory phase from September 15 to 30 to identify targets to be taken up for cleaning. The implementation phase began on October 2 and will conclude on October 31.
During the campaign, special emphasis is being given to achieve space management and enhancement of workplace experience in offices along with beautification of offices and cleanliness.
The cleaning drive includes effective disposal of public grievances, references from Members of Parliament, Parliament assurances, cleanliness drive in the workplace and around the premise, disposal of scrap and weeding out of files.
