The NPP has announced the formation of its farmers’ wing.
Known as NPP Farmers’ Front, Meghalaya State Unit, this new initiative aims to strengthen the party’s focus on agricultural issues within the State.
The NPP Farmers’ Front is headed by party spokesperson Himalaya M. Shangpliang as chairman. The members include Kansing Lyngshiang, Jimmy Raul Kharmuti, Mutshuwa Thabah, Sanbha Sohtun, Skhemborlin Hoojon, Micky McDonald Marwein, Jongman R. Marak, Kimberline R. Marak and Linus K. Marak.
