The Mawkyrwat Socio-Economic and People Development Forum (MSEPDF) was formed on Saturday in Mawlangwir, South West Khasi Hills.
The members of the MSEPDF were confirmed by university professor Lakhon Kma.
The organisation’s motto is “Help one another and Trust in God”. The members include Daros Ramsiej as president and Brightstar Wanniang as general secretary, among others. The women’s wing includes president Ibanrilang Ïawphniaw and general secretary Bahuntngenlang Ïawphniaw, among others.
Ramsiej said that the forum will keep an eye on the construction of development projects under the South West Khasi Hills and also help people in distress in the area.
