To Commemorate NCC Day, a felicitation ceremony was held in Raj Bhavan today which was graced by Governor, Satya Pal Malik.
NCC cadets of NE Directorate and Associate NCC officers who were at the forefront fighting Covid-19 were felicitated on the occasion.
Additional director general of NCC, North Eastern Region, Major General Ananta Bhuyan informed the audience about the activities carried out by the NCC cadets this year and the plans of expansion in borders areas. He also thanked the State government for the support to facilitate NCC activities in the State.
The Governor presented certificates to the cadets and officers and appreciated their efforts in Nation building and various social activities He stressed on the contribution of NCC towards national integration and in grooming disciplined and patriotic youth.
