The office of the District Sports Officer in Ri-Bhoi, will organise a National Youth Day Seminar on January 12 at the District Library in Nongpoh.
The event will be jointly organised with the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society.
National Youth Day is celebrated annually on the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. In 1984 the central government declared this day as National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India every year.
