The National Lok Adalat was today held across the State in which 340 cases were settled for an amount of Rs 1, 64, 70,567 was settled.
The number of cases taken up at the Lok Adalat was 1718, out of which, 1347are Pre-Litigation cases and 371 pending cases.
The National Lok Adalat was organised by the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
