The names of the members of the state’s expert committee on the reservation policy have been readied and will be placed before the cabinet for approval, Ampareen Lyngdoh, the committee’s chairperson, said.
Lyngdoh, however, was not willing to divulge much when asked about the subject by reporters today.
“The panel has been prepared that will be proposed and placed before the cabinet to take a decision as soon as possible,” she said.
The members of the committee, the government had informed in June, will consist of experts in constitutional law, economics, sociology, demographic studies and related fields.
