Shillong, Sep 16 : The multi-denominational Meghalaya United Christian Forum (MUCF) was constituted today by pastors and lay leaders of several Christian denominations.
In a press release MUCF Secretary Synsharlang Kharshiing said that the main vision of the MUCF is “building God’s kingdom by inculcating and upholding the core Christian values, defending the Biblical Christian faith and the welfare of the Christians.”
It will also serve Christian believers “irrespective of church denominations”.
Besides Kharshiing, the other office bearers of the forum are Rev Batkupar Dunai (Chairman), Tony TC Marak (Vice-Chairman),
Rev David Marbaniang (Assistant Secretary) and Eric Brandon Nongkynrih (Treasurer). The executive members include Rev S.Siangshai and Rev Puhran Sangma.
