A lookout notice for a missing person, Copperson Lyngdoh Nonglait, has been cancelled after the 19-year-old was found in Ri-Bhoi.
Lyngdoh Nonglait had gone missing from Nongstoin on April 10 after he told family members that he was on his way to Shillong where he was planning to stay with his brother, Albinus Lyngdoh Nonglait. However, despite waiting for him at the bus stand, his brother said that Lyngdoh Nonglait never showed up in Shillong.
The West Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police, in a letter dated April 27 (but only shared with the press today), informed that the teenager was found in Umsning, Ri-Bhoi.
