Meghalaya has registered a 1.42 per cent increase in the number of voters, according to the according to the final photo electoral rolls published today.
The total number of electors in the state now stands at 22, 17,100, Chief Electoral Officer BDR Tiwari informed. He said there is an increase of net electors by 30,949 as compared with 21, 86,151 number of electors, at the time of publication of the draft rolls on October 27, 2023.
Meghalaya has 60 assembly constituencies.
