Various government departments are representing Meghalaya at the 43rd India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The Tourism, Commerce and Industries, Meghalayan Age and Directorate of Information and Public Relations are the nodal departments. Apart from the government departments, eight units are sponsored by Directorate of Commerce and Industries drawn from various parts of the State are participating in the fair for promotion and display of their indigenous products.
Meghalaya State Investment Promotion Board (MSIPB), Executive Chairman, R. M. Mishra inaugurated the Meghalaya Pavilion.
The fair, organised by the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), runs from November 14-27, 2024, and focuses on India’s vision of becoming a self-reliant nation by 2047, themed “Viksit Bharat @2047.”
The ITPO, under the commerce ministry, said that the fair is a key platform to showcase the strength of Indian industry and quality products.
