Alvin Eshaan Khyriem, a 14-year old footballer from Shillong has been selected for admission into the prestigious TATA Football Academy (TFA), Jamshedpur.
A resident of Pohktieh locality here, Alvin is currently under contract with Don Bosco Football Academy, Vaduthala, Kochi, Kerela.
He was among 20 selected players for a four year full ride scholarship at the academy.
About 650 odd candidates appeared for the trial of admission at TFA.
Alvin will represent Jamshedpur FC under-17 team in the upcoming AIFF Elite youth league to be held in Imphal from December 22.
