State Congress president Vincent Pala has termed the MDA government as a regime of commissions.
“The MDA government is the first government where actions are not taken and only commissions after commissions are formed with no results,” Pala said today.
He also alleged that the MDA government is hiding a lot from the public.
Pointing out the bad treatment of teachers by the government, Pala alleged that even headmen in his constituency have been treated badly when they complain about drug addicts and other petty crimes to the police.
On the continued threat by BJP to withdraw from the MDA government, Pala said that it is only in Meghalaya that BJP is controlled by other parties.
“They (BJP) don’t dare to withdraw support and neither do they dare to bring in the CBI as they have claimed. They are not able to decide collectively if they want to withdraw, they don’t have the guts to bring CBI. Even if they bring also it will just be against one or two people or departments,” he said.
