The Meghalaya College Teachers’ Association (MCTA) has elected Shiv K Pradhan as its new president with Longnam W Kharpuri as the general secretary.
The new office bearers of the association were elected during the 35th Biennial Conference held at Shillong College on Friday.
MCTA will also comprise of two vice presidents, treasurer, six joint secretaries and 14 executive members were also elected.
The conference was attended by members drawn from the affiliate college units of the association from across the state.
