Mawlai constituency has the highest number of voters for the Lok Sabha election in Shillong parliamentary seat scheduled on April 19 while East Shillong has the lowest number of electors.
Mawlai under East Khasi Hills has a total of 50,953 voters comprising 23,568 males and 27,385 females.
It was followed by Khliehriat in East Jaintia Hills with 49,041 voters. Of these 23,794 are males and 25,247 are females.
Sutnga-Saipung located in East Jaintia Hills has 48,798 voters who include 24,248 males and 24,550 females.
Nartiang in West Jaintia Hills has a total of 45,549 voters. These include 22,415 males and 23,134 females.
Mawthadraishan in Eastern West Khasi Hills has 44,481 voters comprising 21,793 males and 22,688 females.
Mairang also under Eastern West Khasi Hills has 43,323 voters of whom 21,167 are males and 22,156 females.
Mawshynrut in West Khasi Hills has 42,699 voters. These include 21,832 males and 20,867 females.
East Shillong in East Khasi Hills has the least number of voters at just 25,479. These include 11,985 males and 13,494 females.
It is followed by West Shillong in the same district with 27,108 voters of whom 13,418 are males and 13,690 females.
In the third spot is North Shillong which has 28,201 voters. They include 13,886 males and 14,315 females.
The total number of voters under the Shillong parliamentary seat is 14,00,411. Of these, 6,83,766 are males and 7,16,643 females.
