East Jaiñtia Hills district police have arrested a 21-year old man, for allegedly sexually assaulting his 9-year-old niece.
Police said the survivor had gone to a shop on October 23 and was sexually exploited by the accused at around 6 pm while returning.
The minor is currently undergoing treatment at Khliehriat CHC.
A FIR has been lodged by the mother of the minor and investigation is on.
