      Major reshuffle in State bureaucracy

      Following the lifting of the model code of conduct in the State, the government has ordered a major reshuffle in the State bureaucracy involving officers of the IAS and MCS.

      Varianarica R. Syiem (IAS) who is the Director, Border Areas Development and Secretary of Border Areas Development and Secretariat Administration Departments etc has been relieved of her functions as Director, Border Areas Development.

      Ambrose Ch. Marak (IAS) who is the Director, Higher and Technical Education and Secretary of Education and Personnel and Administrative Reforms has been relieved of his functions as Director of Higher and Technical Education.

      Ram Kumar (IAS) who is the Secretary of Health and Family Welfare, Programme Implementation and Evaluation, and Director, Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute etc has been relieved of his functions as Director, Programme Implementation and Evaluation.

      Hazel D B Sangma (MCS) who is the Joint Secretary of Home, General Administration, Inspector General of Registration and Superintendent of Stamps has been relieved of her functions as Joint Secretary of Home. She shall now function as Director of Higher and Technical Education and also continue to function as Joint Secretary of the General Administration Department, Inspector General of Registration and Superintendent of Stamps.

      Levenstones Ch Marak (MCS) who is the Joint Secretary of the Housing Department shall also function as Director of Border Areas Development.

      Zenithsky J. Sangma (MCS) who is the Joint Secretary of Food Civil Supplies and Consumers Affairs and Joint Secretary of the Labour Department has been posted as Inspector General of Prisons. However, he shall continue to function as Joint Secretary of Food Civil Supplies and Consumers Affairs and Labour departments.

      Doreena Phawa (MCS) who is the Secretary of Meghalaya State Information Commission and Joint Secretary of Home Department shall also function as Director of Programme Implementation and Evaluation.

      Brenda Lee Pakyntein (MCS) who is the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi District has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills.

      Balakyntiew Rani (MCS) who is the Additional Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills, Additional Deputy Commissioner in-charge of Pynursla (Civil) Sub-Division and Project Director, District Rural Development Agency, Shillong has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi District.

      Peter T. Passah (MCS) who is the Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills. His services are partially placed at the disposal of the Community and Rural Development Department for appointment as Project Director of District Rural Development Agency, Shillong.

      Biantimon Blah (MCS) who is the Additional Deputy Commissioner of West Khasi Hills has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of West Jaintia Hills.

      Albert G. Momin (MCS) who is the Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of East Garo Hills.

      Evarinia L. Warjri (MCS) who is the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi District and Additional Deputy Commissioner in-charge of Patharkhmah (Civil) Sub-Division has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner in-charge of Pynursla (Civil) Sub-Division, Pynursla.

      Alertson Nongbri (MCS) who is the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi District has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Eastern West Khasi Hills.

      Dalikynti Kharshiing (MCS) who is the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi District has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills.

      Labiangbha T. Tariang (MCS) who is the Additional Deputy Commissioner of South West Khasi Hills has been relieved of his functions as Additional Deputy Commissioner in-charge of Ranikor (Civil) Sub-Division.

      Lyngkor Kynjing (MCS) who is the Additional Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner in-charge of Ranikor (Civil) Sub-Division.

      Yvette Risa Mawlong (MCS) who is the Additional Deputy Commissioner of South West Khasi Hills has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary of the General Administration Department.

      Ranik Glistering Dhar (MCS) who is the Assistant Commissioner of East Khasi Hills has been relieved of his functions as Assistant Commissioner of Pynursla (Civil) Sub-Division, Pynursla and Block Development Officer of Pynursla Community and Rural Development Block.

      Evanmi Lyngdoh (MCS) who is the Assistant Commissioner of East Khasi Hills and Block Development Officer of Mawpat Community and Rural Development Block has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner of West Khasi Hills.

      Mardondor B. Tongper (MCS) who is the Additional Deputy Commissioner of West Jaintia Hills has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi District. He shall also function as Additional Deputy Commissioner in-charge of Patharkhmah (Civil) Sub-Division.
