The BJP State Mahila Morcha today celebrated Raksha Bandhan with officers and CRPF jawans at Polo.
Mahila President Susuki Paria, Alok Bhattacharya, Commandant- 67 BN CRPF and officers were present on the occasion.
Pariat said, “for us at Mahila Morcha, it was an honour to spend time with and spread smiles amongst those who fight for peace and protection of the common citizen. We at BJP remain committed to peace, prosperity and development of our state.”
Meanwhile, the State BJP has lauded the centre’s decision to cut prices of domestic cooking gas and said that the BJP led government is constantly working towards helping the common man.
State President, Ernest Mawrie said the move will have an immediate impact on every Meghalayan’s domestic budget and will make day to day living so much easier. He said the move was a gift from the Narendra Modi government to women of India, and the state, ensuring that every upcoming festival becomes more joyful.
