The Meghalaya AIDS Control Society and the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi came together today to hold an integrated health camp at Iewmawlong community hall.
The chief guest on the occasion was Nongpoh MLA Mayralborn Syiem with DC Raja Brahma the guest of honour. Others present were District Health and Medical Officer Dr T Momin and MACS project director Dr B Decruse.
Free medical checkups were provided to the general public at the camp, with screening offered to detect HIV, tuberculosis and other illnesses. The camp had a dedicated team of doctors and nurses providing their services to those in need.
