Dr. Kamal Kumar Jhunjhunwala was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Annual District Conference in Guwahati for his remarkable 51 years of uninterrupted service to the Lions Club.
Jhunjhunwala previously served as the District Governor for the entire Northeastern region during the year 2003-2004 and has received multiple prestigious awards from Lions Club International.
In addition to his contributions to Lionism, he has played a pivotal role in journalism as the Editor-in-Chief of Eastern Panorama for the past 33 years, significantly shaping the media landscape.
While presenting the award at ITA Machkhowa, Guwahati on April 4, International Director Rajkumar Agarwala lauded Dr. Jhunjhunwala’s exemplary dedication, unwavering leadership, and outstanding commitment to the principles of Lionism.
