Kendriya Vidyalaya Happy Valley Shillong has been entrusted with the responsibility to host 54th Regional Sports Meet (KVS Silchar Region) 2025, which commenced on May 4.
The three-day regional event witnessed the participation of 160 students from 22 Kendriya Vidyalayas under the Silchar region in various events such as skipping rope, boxing, taekwondo, skating, shooting and chess.
The meet ended today with Brig Joe Sabby, Commandant of 58 Gorkha Training Centre and Chairman of the Vidyalaya Management Committee of KV Happy Valley, present as the chief guest. The meet was declared closed with a colourful cultural programme and prize distribution ceremony and concluded with the flag retreat ceremony.
