The Khun Hynñiewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) has asked for a copy of the report submitted by the committee on the state reservation policy.
KHNAM working president Thomas Passah stated that the committee, headed by Justice (Retd) MC Garg, submitted its report to the government after reviewing the existing reservation policy in Meghalaya.
Passah noted that all political parties, NGOs and stakeholders had met with the committee and submitted their views and suggestions.
KHNAM strongly feels that a copy of the report should be made available to all political parties to study and submit further representations to the government if necessary.
