Along with 35 States and Union Territories, Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Oxygen Plants established under PM CARES, was also dedicated to Khliehriat CHC in East Jaiñtia Hills district by Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually from All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of the district, S.S.Syiemlieh attended a function held at the CHC and urged health workers to continue to work with the same dedication amidst the pandemic.
District Medical Health Officer Dr D.Shylla, District Informatics Officer Ida Rymbai, Medical and Health Officer in-charge Khliehriat CHC Dr B. Khongngaiñ, Medical Officers Dr C.S. Bareh, Dr N. Suchiang and others were also present at the function.
Speaking at an event, the Prime Minister said 1,150 PSA oxygen plants have started functioning in the last few months and now every district has them under the PM Cares Fund as the government was setting up their network across the country.
