The Jaiñtia Women Awakening Movement (JWAM) has come forward to support three families in need.
In Khanduli, JWAM extended assistance to a single mother of four, who has been battling a stroke for the past two years. Her 12-year-old son has taken on the responsibility of supporting the family.
Another family in Sahsniang B village received aid after losing everything in a devastating fire, including their 4-year-old daughter, leaving the family in a state of distress.
In Mihmyntdu, JWAM reached out to children living with their ailing father, who has been bedridden for seven years.
JWAM stated that its actions are not seeking praise but rather to inspire others to come forward and support those in distress.
