Shillong, Mar 10: The District Commerce & Industries Centre (DCIC) of South West Khasi Hills recently hosted an industrial exhibition at Presbyterian Mawkyrwat ground.
The event was inaugurated by MLA Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar, with MLA Pius Marweiñ.
The exhibition showcased local entrepreneurs and artisans from across the district and beyond, displaying a diverse range of handmade products and handicrafts.
Four individuals were recognised for their contributions to the handicrafts sector, receiving the District Handicrafts Awards.
Over 50 stalls showcased local produce, highlighting the district’s growing entrepreneurial spirit and handicraft sector.
