The dorbar shnong of Hingaria under Sutnga-Saipung constituency has warned against distribution of cash and alcohol by candidates contesting the Assembly elections during public meetings.
In a press release, waheh shnong Thepmon Khonglah said the village welcomes all candidates contesting the elections but wooing electorate with cash and liquour is strictly prohibited and violators will be dealt in accordance with the village law.
