Meghalaya Governor Phagu Chauhan received a briefing today on the performance of the Central Institute of Hindi located in Mawdiangdiang.
Prof Sunil Babu Rao Kulkarni, Director of the Central Institute of Hindi at Agra today paid a courtesy call on the Governor at Raj Bhavan here.
During the meeting, Kulkarni, who is on an official tour to the Mawdiangdiang institute, briefed Chauhan about its performance and discussed the importance of propagating the use of Hindi in the region.
The Shillong centre of the Central Institute of Hindi was inaugurated in November 2021.
