Meghalaya continues to register growth in GST revenue collections since the beginning of this year.
According to figures from the Finance Ministry, the GST collections in Meghalaya for the month of July this year was Rs 175 crore which was a growth of 27 per cent as compared to Rs 138 crore collected in July 2022.
The Central government has also settled the share of Meghalaya on Central GST and State GST from Integrated GST for the month of July.
According to the Finance Ministry, the amount of SGST settled to Meghalaya was Rs 50 crore while the SGST portion of IGST settled to the State was Rs 99 crore. So the total share released to the State was Rs 149 crore.
