The Personnel Department has instructed MCS, MPS, MFS and MSS employees to file their annual property returns online from now on.
In a release today, the department said that its own website was launched recently and applicable civil servants can now file their property returns via https://megedistrict.gov.in/directApply.do?serviceId=1287.
Public servants have to declare their property under the Meghalaya Public Servants. (Furnishing of Information and Annual Return of Assets and Liabilities and the Limits for Exemption of Assets in Filing Returns) Rules 2016.
The government is also gearing up to implement a complete online Human Resource Management System – Manav Sampada (eHRMS) of NIC, an end-to-end solution whose scope is from the hiring to retiring of employees.
The application is currently being customised as per the service rules of the state government and will be hosted by NIC.
