Shillong, Dec 17: The State government has assured to take immediate steps to repair roads in Nongrimmaw, Laitumkhrah.
The submission was made by the legal counsel for the State before the division bench of Chief Justice Soumen Sen and Justice H.S.Thangkhiew while hearing of PIL filed by Gregory Syngkrem.
The court noted the complaint against poor and depleted condition of roads in the locality and directed the State to file a report on the progress made.
The matter will be heard again on January 30, 2026.
