TG Vinay, the General Observer of Mairang and Mawthadraishan Assembly constituencies, interacted with polling personnel during their third phase of training held yesterday in Mairang.
During the interaction, the General Observer emphasised the important role of polling officers on polling day with the presiding officers at the centre of the election process.
Vinay impressed upon everyone the importance of the mock poll. He also emphasised on the importance of instructions and procedures laid down by the Election Commission of India and urged everyone to perform their duties to the best of their abilities.
