Shillong, Dec 16: The Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) [CRCSRE-Shillong] is running a free job coaching course for persons with disabilities (PwDs) in Meghalaya with the objective of enhancing their employability and preparedness for competitive examinations.
The coaching programme is mainly focused on SSC (Staff Selection Commission) and RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) related examinations and is designed to provide systematic and exam-oriented guidance to the students.
The duration of the course is nine months. Two batches of the course have already been successfully completed and the third batch is proposed to commence in the first quarter of 2026.
During the course period, enrolled students are provided with a monthly stipend of Rs 6,000. In addition, a one-time material cost of Rs 5,000 is provided to meet study-related requirements. A valid UDID card is mandatory for enrollment in the programme.
Interested candidates may visit the office of CRCSRE-Shillong, located on the ground floor of the Montfort Brothers Building in Dhankheti, bringing along relevant documents and details such as name, email ID, contact number, UDID card, caste certificate, educational qualification certificates, passport-size photograph, etc., for registration and further details.
