The Coordination Committee of Indo-Bangla Ri War People (CCIBRP) has mourned the death of Africa Suting, a Khasi soldier who took part in the Bangladesh liberation war of 1971.
In a condolence message, the committee recalled the various contributions of Suting. It also mentioned that it had felicitated him in October 2021 at Mawryngkang village.
Suting’s funeral will be held tomorrow at the Catholic Church cemetery at Awla Punjee in Bangladesh.
The funeral service will be held at his residence in the afternoon which will include special homage to be paid by the Bangladesh army.
