The State Food Testing Laboratory at Pasteur Hills here will be closed for three and a half weeks starting Tuesday due to renovation work.
The laboratory will only reopen for testing samples of food and/or water on April 19. This was informed through a notice by Dr Wadamika Lyngdoh, the Deputy Commissioner of Food Safety (Technical). The notice was dated March 22 but was shared with the media only today.
