The FKJGP, Williamnagar unit today raised the urgent need for a sonography technician at the Williamnagar Civil Hospital.
In a memo to the Chief Minister, the NGO sought the immediate recruitment of a technician, especially in the time of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
They had earlier written to the Director of Health Services earlier on the matter who had then directed the Deputy Commissioner of the district to look into the matter. However even after a month going by, no action has been taken to recruit the much needed technician.
“This has caused us tremendous hardships. We would therefore request you to kindly look into the matter and help get a resolution,” said the NGO.
