As a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mohotsav to commemorate the 75 years of India independence and over all achievement of India, the State Bank of India (SBI) organised a financial literacy camp at Nongpoh today.
The financial literacy camp was organized by the Nongpoh branch to create awareness among the residents of Ri Bhoi about the importance of banking inclusion and various benefits rendered by the bank.
During the programme, sanctioned letters were also distributed to beneficiaries, which included KCC loan, business loan, PMEGP and others benefit for the customers.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Ri Bhoi, M.B Tongper urged the people to avail the benefits from the bank like the implementation of PBJBY, PMSBY, APY and NPS schemes.
