Factory derecognised

Shillong, Oct 18: The Chief Inspector of Boilers and Factories, Meghalaya, has issued notification for general information that the factory named Meghalaya Survey situated at Lachumiere Hills, Shillong, registered under the Factories Act, 1948, under Registration No. SH/14 has been derecognised as the unit does not constitute a “Factory” as per the provision of Section 2m(i) of the Factories Act, 1948 and the Meghalaya Factories Rules, 1980.
