Two former members of the NPP have joined the Trinamool Congress.
Rasel Uddin Choudhary informed today that he and Francewell Marak signed up to the TMC in the presence of party leader Dr Mukul Sangma.
Marak was a regional leader in the National People’s Youth Front, the youth wing of the National People’s Party, which he quit in October. Choudhary had quit as the NPP’s chairman of minority affairs in West Garo Hills in September.
