Two former NDFB militants were arrested by police today from Siju-Adura in South Garo Hills.
The duo identified as Kamal Khaklary (35) and Jamejoy Basumatary (34) were nabbed while they were travelling in a Maruti 800 car.
Four factory made 7.65 mm pistols with seven rounds of ammunition were also seized from their possession.
The two former militants hail from Goalpara district, Assam. South Garo Hills police said the former militants were nabbed based on intelligence inputs.
