The office of the West Jaiñtia Hills Deputy Commissioner (Election) has invited the public to visit the EVM Demonstration Centre (EDC) at the office during working hours to stay informed on the functions of the machine.
The centre was set up on December 19, 2023 and is open from 10am to 1 pm on all working days.
The office said that the election branch has been conducting EVM awareness programme in every polling stations of the four Assembly Constituencies under the district from December 13.
The programmes were conducted through the Mobile Demonstration Van (MDV) in the presence of BLO supervisors and election staff.
